Jaguar — vendor blocked

In 2024 Jaguar Land Rover permanently ended third-party access to their InControl vehicle API. Joule Genie cannot read data from your Jaguar directly. This affects every third-party service — OVO Energy and Octopus Energy lost their I-Pace smart-charging in the same block.

You can still optimise charging

Joule Genie can schedule when your charger delivers power, even without vehicle data. If you have one of the chargers we support, we will drive that instead:

• myenergi Zappi — start, stop, and target charging into cheap tariff slots.
• Pod Point — schedule and monitor charge sessions.
• Ohme (roadmap) — planned for 2026.
• Hypervolt — plug status and session control.

What you will not get

Without vehicle-side access we cannot show your car's state of charge or estimated range in Joule Genie. You will need to check those in the Jaguar InControl app.

When could this change?

Only if Jaguar Land Rover reintroduces a public or commercial API for third parties, or licenses one via a broker we can connect to. We are watching for either — Register Interest and tick Jaguar in the hardware section so we can let you know.
